Athletics

Banks Academy utilizes sports to meet the physical, academic, and spiritual needs of students. The mission of the athletic department is to train up the whole child by utilizing athletics to develop their character, and to provide them with the tools they’ll need to live a successful Christian life. Banks Academy considers sports to be another classroom. All students are encouraged to participate in athletics.

Football

Banks Academy’s football program is one of the best among all Private High Schools in the City of Birmingham. A winning tradition is already in place with a top ranked basketball program that won the ACAA Div. II State Championship in 2018.

Football is a great tool to prepare young men for the trials and challenges of life. It is our goal to compliment our quality education in a Christian environment, with the mental discipline that is takes to have a championship program.
